RGA Becomes the First Organization to Receive CQL Accreditation focused on Person-Centered Excellence

Ray Graham Association is the first organization in the world to achieve The Council on Quality and Leadership’s (CQL) Accreditation for Person-Centered Excellence. CQL believes the method for accreditation is built to facilitate excellence in person-centered services and supports that lead to an increased quality of life.
Three consultants from CQL facilitated the fast-paced accreditation process, interacting with a large group of people representing the organization from individuals who receive services and supports, family members of those supported, direct support professionals, community members and representation from the organization’s leadership team.  The group activities focused on strategies for enhancing person-centered services, self-determination and a person-centered quality of life.
According to Albert Van Kleeck, Director of Accreditation for CQL, “we clearly identified that Ray Graham Association excelled in several areas including making people served and their families feel welcome and heard, quality management systems strength and integration, and understanding that the organization’s mission, values and vision are person-centered.”

Kim Zoeller, President/CEO of Ray Graham Association says, “We are proud and honored to be the first organization in the world to achieve this accreditation.  CQL is an innovative leader in the industry and they define the most promising of practices internationally.  Their focus on person-centered excellence is a perfect match for our organization’s mission and values.”
